RunNwalk
NOTES FOR RUNNERS AND WALKS..
The night before the run or walk you will be feeling excited or anxious, so do not rely on having a good nights sleep. Do not worry, a single nights restless sleep will not affect your performance. Instead make sure you are well rested in the nights leading up to the run. Plan your pre run breakfast. Know what you are going to eat and when you are going to eat. Stick to a tried and tested food that you have used in training.
If you are travelling to the run bring food with you, stick to the food you know.
Never try anything new on the run. New shoes or a new a new type of food could sabotage your run.
The start point for the run is at the National Trust Café. Remember to ‘warm up’ before the start of your run for at least 10minutes. For the 10 and 15K run the assembly area will be split so please if you have not run a 10 or 15k cross country or you want to run for fun without the pain, please let us know when booking. When you have booked your run, confirmation will be e mailed to you and information about the run.
